Introduction into Costuming a production

Are you new to theatrical costuming?  Are you a Costume Crew member?

This course if designed to teach you how to costume a live theatrical production. 

Using the script, you will develop a costume plot.

You will learn how to measure and fit actors.  Measurements method will be for general fitting of existing garments or rentals, as well as measurements for garment constructions.  

Communication is key for a successful production.  Methods and  guidelines to optimize production outcomes.

Reusable templates will be given for planning future productions.
