Wardrobe Alterations: Mending & Repairing

Learn How to hem a pair of pants, sew a buttonhole and attach a button and repair a seam tear.  Bring your own garment to repair or practice on one of our garments

Sewing Level:  Confident Beginner.  This dress is really straight forward,

Skills: With this dress you will learn PDF Pattern use, gathering, sewing curved seams, buttonholes, seam finishes, invisible zipper placement and fitting. 

Materials:  Please Purchase 5 to 6 yards of Fabric.  This dress works well with Cotton, Linen, lightweight wool, silk or satin charmeuse, matching thread  and a 24 inch matching invisible zipper.

Provided tools: Pattern, Sewing Machines and sewing tools  available in our studio.
